The Green Tara has one face and two hands. She sits in the half cross-legged posture with her right leg extended. She grants refuge with her right hand, grasping a lotus at the same time, and holds the stem of an utpala-lotus in her left that blossoms near her ear. In the lower part, an inscription reading “Sgrol ljang la na mo” is printed. It praises her with the words: “Homage to the Green Tara.”
