The elephant-faced Great Red Ganapati (Skt. Maharakta Ganapati, Tib. Tshogs bdag dmar chen) was originally worshipped within the Sakya school but later also incorporated in the rituals and teachings of the Geluk school. Prints of this wealth deity probably circulated in all regions were followers of the Geluk school lived such as Mongolia.
