Shridevi (Lhamo) is sitting sidesaddle on her mule, riding across the sea of blood. The flayed skin of her son (she killed her son who was an enemy of Buddhism) became her saddle blanket. Her attributes: the bag of diseases, book, a pair of dice are attached to her mount with snake trappings. This figure is cast in a single piece (such as the statues of Zanabazar and his school). In her left hand she holds a skull-cup (kapala), the attribute in her right (usually a skull club) is missing. According to the collector the statue was complete - attributes were put into the hollow of the statue. An old photograph kept in the museum´s archive depicts the figure with the now missing attribute.
